Part-time Surveyor
On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is
searching for a part-time surveyor. Our client is seeking a motivated,
detail-oriented candidate to carry out intercept surveys at various sites in Ann Arbor, MI.
The part-time Surveyors will travel to an assigned university approaching individuals to ask them to part-take in a survey. These events will take place September 6th and 7th and September 27th and 28th.
The qualifications for part-time Surveyor are as follows:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Strong interest and/or experience in conducting
high-quality research
- Strong interest and/or experience utilizing
motivational interviewing techniques
- Comfortable talking and working with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to
detail
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; some evening and
weekend hours may be required
Hours: 7 - 15 hours (2 days for each event)
Starting wage: $22-$25 per hour
Location: University of Michigan
Start date: The anticipated start date for this position is September 6, 2024.
Physical Requirements of a part-time Surveyor:
- Travel frequently to assigned locations
- Be outside and exposed to all types of weather
- Be exposed to fumes and odors as might be expected in any outdoor environment
- Stand, walk and climb stairs
- Communicate through speech and listening
- Read text verbatim from a tablet or computer screen
- Transport a laptop and tablet, and materials weighing approximately 12 pounds
- Transport materials up flights of stairs
