DCA Reagan Airport Intercept Interviewer
$23.00-$24.00 per hour

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking outgoing and motivated Intercept Interviewers to conduct face-to-face interviews in the DC Metro Area with travelers at DCA Reagan National Airport for a short-term assignment. As an Intercept Interviewer, you will receive full, paid training and support while in the field. Interviewers must be persuasive, energetic, friendly, and self-motivated, but also organized and detail-oriented. This position offers $24.00 per hour.
Responsibilities of an Intercept Interviewer:
Complete airport required badging process at DCA tentatively beginning August 12th (applicable expenses will be reimbursed)
Attend a 90minute, mandatory, paid virtual training tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, July 31st from 12pm-1:30pm
Attend a 30minute, mandatory, paid virtual, follow up touchbase tentatively on Friday, August 9th from 1:30pm-2pmWork approximately 20 - 30 hours per week from Sunday, August 11th - Tuesday, August 20th, with the potential to continue through Friday, August 23rd in scheduled 6 hour shifts (6am-12pm OR 2pm-8pm)
Travel to designated location at Reagan National Airport
Conduct surveys using a project provided tablet
Be responsible for tablet and all other study materials
Keep respondent information and survey details confidential
Complete all other tasks as assigned by management
Opportunity for future assignments at both Dulles and Reagan National, in addition to nearby BWI Airport
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous field data collection or interviewing experience preferred
High school diploma or GED
Must enjoy interacting with all sorts of people
Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Follow all health and safety protocols
Must treat all respondents with sincere professionalism

Looking for Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Field Interviewers!
Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Field Interviewers on behalf of our client in the Genesee County area. Applicants within an approximate 50-mile radius of this location may be considered. As a Field Interviewer, you will conduct study enrollment interviews supporting the Parents Empowering Parents (PEP) study, which primarily focuses on assessing the effectiveness of services provided to parents involved with child welfare who have substance use disorder (SUD), an active child welfare case with an assessment that the children are not currently endangered and they are working to address the areas of concern that caused the case to be initiated. This is a multi-year study that includes a 45-minute interviewer-administered baseline survey, plus another similar follow-up survey approximately 15 months later.
This is a part-time position and applicants must be available at least 20 hours per week up to 40 hours per week based on availability of work. Applicants must be available to work a combination of weekdays and weekends when Respondents will be available and must be available to attend a remote project training. A tablet, keyboard and phone will be provided and is for use only on this assignment. The compensation for this position is based on your location and follows the Service Contract Act (SCA) rates. The SCA Rate for Genesee County is $22.34 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour Health & Welfare stipend.
Responsibilities of a Field Interviewer:
Follow all project specifications and protocols
Administer and collect study informed consent, including answering any questions respondents may have about the study
Conduct computer-based interviews by phone and in-person with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
Issue and track respondent payments in the form of a $40 Visa gift card
Conduct locating activities online and in-person when Respondents are difficult to reach
Regularly report to assigned Field Manager
Exercise courtesy and professionalism to all Respondents
Maintain confidentiality of all collected data
Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements of a Field Interviewer
High School Diploma or the equivalent
Good working knowledge of computers and strong typing skills
Must have home wireless internet
Must have a private space to conduct interviews
Must have own reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance
This position requires candidates to consent to the performance of a background check
Qualifications of a Field Interviewer
Two years of experience interviewing or in customer service
Social worker background or experience working with state or local agencies supporting services for citizens dealing with SUD and/or foster care are a plus
Both English and Spanish fluency is a plus
Exceptional reading, verbal, and listening skills with the ability to multi-task
The ability to speak with Respondents using a tablet and keyboard to record responses
Willingness to work in-person to locate selected Respondents and schedule appointments and conduct interviews when they cannot be completed by phone
Courteous with good communication skills and “people” skills
Positive and self-motivated demeanor
Prior Field Research/Interviewing experience a plus
Additional Information:
Hours and Training
Must be available at least 20 hours per week – including some daytime and some evening hours during the week as well as on weekends when Respondents may be available
May work up to 40 hours in a week, based on the availability of work and project needs
Project training is paid and will consist of approximately 8 hours of computer self-study at home, as well as 3 days of group training sessions conducted remotely via WebEx either late July or early August
Respondent compensation: As a “thank you” for their participation and completing the approximately 45-minute interview, Respondents will receive a $40 Visa gift card.
