Warehouse Assistant

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Warehouse Assistants in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Warehouse Assistant/Courier, you will assist with the packing, staging, and preparing equipment and supplies. The pay for this position is $17-$18 per hour. Responsibilities of a Warehouse Assistant: · Labor intensive. · Assist with the packing, staging, and preparing equipment and supplies. · Assist with unpacking and cleaning supplies. · Other warehouse and clerical duties as assigned. · Assist with data entry of supplies in inventory management system. · Employee may be required to do business related driving using a rental van and daily driving during the early voting period. Employee must be willing to drive. · Assist in reconciliation after elections. Qualifications & Requirements: · Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US. · Must be available to work full day and must be able to work up to 50 to 60-hour work week (including some weekends) during election season. · Must be able to sit and stand for the duration of your shift. · Must be comfortable working in various roles which may include light to intensive labor, site setup, supply inventory, general office tasks, and supporting roles. · Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. · Must have reliable transportation. · Must have the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. · Must have strong organizational and time management skills. · Must have strong communication and customer service skills. · Flexibility to perform different tasks throughout the day. · Must maintain confidentiality of voter information and sign a confidentiality statement before being hired. · Ability to stay focused when performing repetitive tasks. Elections Assistant - Training

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Elections Assistants for the Training Team in Raleigh, North Carolina . As an Elections Assistant, you will assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating day-to-day election activities in reference to training precinct officials. The pay for this position is $18 per hour. · Assist in training over 2000 precinct officials and early voting workers for the upcoming 2024 elections. •Become very familiar with election procedures and laws pertaining to all types of elections in Wake Co. •Assist in setting up training rooms, including voting equipment and posting outdoor signage. Assist in breaking down and packing equipment and signage after the training period. •Set up and provide technical assistance with microphones, laptops, slideshows, and AV equipment. •Type up notes in Microsoft Word and create Excel spreadsheets as needed. •Provide trainer and official assistance before, during, and after class. •Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies. •Assist with minor edits to training materials, including PowerPoints. •Provide telephone support for election day precincts, advise officials on procedures and troubleshooting. Assist in reconciliation after elections and identify training issues and other issues that need follow-up. Phlebotomist/Lab Technician (Part Time)

On behalf of our client, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking hourly, Part-Time Lab Technicians/Phlebotomists to join the FEED Study team in Bloomington, IN. The successful candidate will have experience supporting researchers in a laboratory setting including phlebotomy services, testing, and laboratory maintenance. This is an ongoing assignment that will run from now through the end of 2024 with the possibility of extending the assignment. Hours are estimated at between 4 to 15 hours per week. All PPE is provided. The position is part time hourly with a pay range of $21-$22/hour. Start Date: Mid July 2024 Qualifications & Requirements: • Observe best practices of teamwork and strong communication with the research team • Greet and confirm participants prior to phlebotomy services • Organize and store samples in accordance with all safety procedures and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample • Collect serum and plasma from study participants and label venipuncture tubes appropriately • Aliquot samples using transfer pipettes • Place aliquoted samples in appropriate containers and place in freezer in an organized manner for easy retrieval and testing • Clean and maintain lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment • Maintain equipment records and daily work logs • Prepare and maintain inventory of all equipment and supplies • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 1 year of experience working as a laboratory technician and or phlebotomist OR an associate degree with at least 2 years of experience • Excellent eye-hand coordination and attention to detail • Experience collecting and processing serum and plasma, and aliquot samples • Labelling venipuncture tubes and aliquot tubes appropriately storing samples • Trained in good laboratory practices (GLP) and/or good clinical practices (GCP) • Strong computer skills in Word and Excel • Must be patient with study participants • All other duties as assigned Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Part-Time Data Collector

Data Collectors will work with 1st grade students in various schools in Kenai Peninsula Borough School District to assess students’ reading abilities. Data collectors will also do classroom observations of reading instruction. Though most of the data collection is done in person, some schools may allow virtual visits. Data collection will take place during 2024-2025 school year. Most hours are clustered at the beginning (fall) and end (spring) of each school year. Classroom observations can happen in the middle of the school year. Survey administrators are expected to work approximately 10-20 hours per week in the Fall and Spring, with flexibility. This position will require traveling between schools in Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. All mileage will be reimbursed at the government rate. For distance trips, all travel expenses will be paid. The pay rate starts at $20.00 per hour.
