Bilingual Spanish Part-time Field Interviewer
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking bilingual Spanish Field Interviewers to work on a research study throughout the state of California. Data collection will take place between January and April 2024.
This part-time position requires interviewing people face-to-face and working daytime, evening and weekend hours, driving to and from the field interviewing sites (mileage reimbursed at federal mileage rate), walking, and climbing stairs. This is an hourly non-benefited position.
Candidates must be available for a virtual training on January 29th through February 2nd, 2024. This is a mandatory paid training.
As a Part-Time Bilingual Field Interviewer, you will:
Drive to designated addresses to conduct a brief in-person interview
Use a tablet to conduct the interview and enter information provided by respondents and transmitting data back to the home office daily
Meet with supervisor regularly both by phone and in-person
Encourage participation in the study

Interview people (either face to face or by phone) while following safety procedures and local and state guideline related to COVID-19.
Work in diverse communities
Must be able to read street maps
Regularly work evenings and weekends
Have familiarity with a smartphone and related applications (e.g. Google maps)
Have familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Qualifications:
Must be bilingual English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
Motivated self-starter, comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable traveling to and working with at-risk and underserved populations in a range of community and neighborhood settings
Exceptional time-management, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Prior survey research or data collection experience, or related professional experience preferred
